WineWeb On-Line Terms & Conditions

It is important that the on-line terms and conditions listed below are read carefully by all customers of WineWeb. In using our website the customer is agreeing to the terms & conditions as set out below.

In particular the customer is confirming that they are above the legal limit age for purchasing alcohol. In Ireland the legal age for purchasing alcohol is 18 years and above.

We at WineWeb take our responsibility in this regard very seriously. Under no circumstances will we knowingly sell or market alcoholic beverages to any person under the legal age limit.

Privacy Policy

The privacy and security of our customers is a top priority for WineWeb. We will ensure that all information sent to us from your computer is securely encrypted and protected by using Internet standard encryption technology i.e. SSL. All information submitted to WineWeb for payment and delivery purposes will be totally secure and will be subjected to the strictest confidentiality.

Ordering Goods

Prices in Euros
Wines are priced in Euro by bottle and are inclusive of current excise and VAT.

Minimum Orders
€7.00 to anywhere in Ireland is based on a minimum case unit order of 6 or 12 Bottles depending on case configuration.

Orders by the case
Orders may be placed in case units of six bottles or in case units of twelve bottles. This is indicated with the pricing information where applicable. Mixed cases are not available.

Final bill
The final bill to the customer will represent the full order cost to the customer including all taxes and delivery costs. By engaging in the ordering process the customer is authorising WineWeb to validate and charge the full cost of the goods ordered to the charge card submitted.

Delivery
So we can deliver your order as quickly and accurately as possible, we ask you to provide all the information requested in the ordering process.

Availability
We supply fine wines, some of which are subject to availability. Where the supply of exclusive wines or vintages are problematic, we will advise you during the ordering process.

Delivery Policy

We deliver your wine to your door for a one off delivery charge of €7.00 regardless of size of order (6 bottle full case or 12 bottle full case minimum depending on case configuration). And if you submit your order by 12 noon, it will be delivered within 3 working days. For your peace of mind, you can track your order from our warehouse to your door right through the delivery process.

Deliveries will be carried out nationwide by General Logistics Solutions, GLS.

In the run-up to Christmas, it can take us a little longer to deliver your wine, so please try to place your orders as early as you can.

If you have any special delivery instructions, please include these with your order or by contacting us in advance. We will try our best to make sure your wine is delivered to you when you want and how you want.

Refunds & Returns Policy

Cancelling before Dispatch
You may cancel an order at any time before goods are dispatched from our warehouse by notifying WineWeb. A full refund will be made to your account without charge.

Return of Delivered Goods
If you want to return goods that have been delivered for any reason, please contact WineWeb. The goods must be returned to our warehouse unopened and sealed along with a copy of the original invoice.

You will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods. When the goods and invoice have been satisfactorily returned, you will be issued with a full credit.

Breakages in Transit
When you receive your order, it is important for you to check it is intact. If you notice a breakage, you must bring this to the attention of the GLS delivery person at the time of delivery. We can quickly arrange and dispatch a replacement order or a refund.

Please be aware that once you sign for your order with GLS, any subsequent breakages become your responsibility.
